The lexicon of disinformation

.WORDS disinformation and also misinformation are typically used interchangeably. Yet there is an understated difference in their meaning. Disinformation is when untrue info is spread with the intent to deceive, often as portion of a co-ordinated initiative. Misinformation is when misleading information is actually accidentally spread out, for example through redoing a rumour to a pal or even reposting a dubious insurance claim on a social-media system.
